Job Description:

A dynamic and multi-disciplinary property consultancy is looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding agency and development team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with some experience or someone ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The team works across a wide range of sectors including office, industrial, retail, leisure, student accommodation and residential. The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure to a broad spectrum of development and cost management work, supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting senior surveyors in cost planning, estimating, and procurement
Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation and contract administration
Involvement in valuations, variations, and project cost reporting
Attending site visits and client meetings
Progressing towards APC and long-term professional development

Requirements:

BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction-related degree
Previous experience in a QS or development role is beneficial, but not essential
Strong communication and team-working skills
A proactive approach with a willingness to learn
Interest in both commercial and residential development sectors

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a QS or development role
