Job Description:

Equans Data Centers is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our innovate team and support exciting large-scale projects from inception to completion. Starting in September 2026, you will join our two-year structured Graduate Programme, combining formal training with practical on the job experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure compliance and governance in respect to various forms of contract including JCT, NEC etc.
  • Support the contract and execute financial reviews and continually monitor projected costs and control within budget
  • Ensure variations to the contracts are priced and agreed at the earliest opportunity
  • Ensure commercial control of projects are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Help the preparation of financial control/WIP/CVR documents and submit reports as required for month end results, forecast and activity reports
  • Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans

Requirements:

  • A degree in an applicable field i.e. Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management
  • The desire to build a career in the Construction, Mechanical and Electrical industry
  • Experience in using Microsoft software with excellent excel skills
  • Willingness to work towards Membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. RICS)
  • Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
  • Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Passionate about the industry and the willingness to progress
  • Team focused, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels
