Equans Data Centers is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our innovate team and support exciting large-scale projects from inception to completion. Starting in September 2026, you will join our two-year structured Graduate Programme, combining formal training with practical on the job experience.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance and governance in respect to various forms of contract including JCT, NEC etc.
Support the contract and execute financial reviews and continually monitor projected costs and control within budget
Ensure variations to the contracts are priced and agreed at the earliest opportunity
Ensure commercial control of projects are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures
Help the preparation of financial control/WIP/CVR documents and submit reports as required for month end results, forecast and activity reports
Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans
Requirements:
A degree in an applicable field i.e. Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management
The desire to build a career in the Construction, Mechanical and Electrical industry
Experience in using Microsoft software with excellent excel skills
Willingness to work towards Membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. RICS)
Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively
Passionate about the industry and the willingness to progress
Team focused, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels
