MQ28 is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. This cutting-edge project is aiming to unlock global defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland. The Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat is a globally significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities. Job Responsibility:
Support the establishment and ongoing execution of the future full rate MQ28 production facility
Participate in refining the production system design for the composite fabrication and aircraft assembly
Facilitate and implement manufacturing plans and related work instructions
Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems
Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
Conduct investigations on manufacturing processes to identify root cause of defects, propose and lead corrective action projects
Contributes to the build and compliance reporting to ensure the production products conform to the product design
Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way to successfully deliver innovative solutions to the Australian Defence Force
Requirements:
Hold a tertiary degree qualification in engineering, computer science or information technology (or have an anticipated graduation date before July 2026)
Be an Australian citizen with eligibility to obtain a Defence Security clearance
