Job Description

To support the ASTI Business Unit and Project Planner in the successful delivery of projects for blue-chip clients through effective programme management techniques and support to the Project Management Organisation (PMO).

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Planner in the production and maintenance of tender and delivery programmes
  • Update programmes at the required frequency and provide PMO with realistic and accurate forecast programmes
  • Support PMO with the development, control, monitoring, analysis, and reporting on schedule-related aspects for designated projects within a portfolio
  • Monitor a cost- and resource-loaded, logic-linked baseline plan for the project in accordance with Programme Office processes
  • Interface with other departments regarding project activities which may have an impact and ensure these are correctly captured.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Commercially focused self-starter with enthusiasm, motivation, and initiative
  • Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation
  • Awareness of Planning Methodologies / Software
  • High level of numeracy and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills, proficient in preparing reports and information using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong awareness of the level of interaction required with the project team to support successful project delivery
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills for working in a team environment
  • Attention to detail with strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Awareness of Planning Methodologies / Software
  • Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts, particularly programme deliverables and requirements
  • Awareness of DCMA Assessment Criteria, Acumen Fuse, etc.
  • Relevant industry experience.
