We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Graduate Radiographer to join our PET-CT Unit at Freeman Hospital Newcastle. You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme and during the preceptorship you will gain experience in PET-CT. Alliance Medical have a robust Clinical Competency Framework and can provide the essential training you will need to help you learn and develop your skills and knowledge. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and Clinical Competency Pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors. You will see your skills develop and salary increase as you progress through the key stages of your training. The training will be on the job. You will also have access to our PET-CT Academy supported by the Christie School of Oncology.
Job Responsibility
Work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Technologists/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff
IV cannulate patients as part of the role
Requirements
BSc/MSc in Radiography or other recognised qualification
Current UKHCPC Registration or be eligible for or in the registration process for UKHCPC
Final year undergraduate Radiography student (pending HCPC registration) or less than 1 year post qualified experience
Hep B immunisation necessary
Right to work in the UK
