Job Description:

Graduate Pastoral Support Assistant role at a 'Good' graded secondary mainstream school in Lambeth, London, supporting students with various challenges including home life, behavior issues, attendance, and mental health.

Job Responsibility:

Support students struggling with secondary school demands (home life, behavior issues, attendance, mental health)
Support students with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
Facilitate differentiation of tasks for struggling students
Work with small groups and 1-2-1 on specific tasks

Requirements:

Graduate degree
Career aspirations in Psychology, Therapy, Counselling or similar
Experience working with students struggling with secondary school demands
Experience supporting students with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
Ability to facilitate task differentiation for struggling students
Experience working with small groups and 1-2-1 on specific tasks

Nice to have:

Experience in pastoral support
Experience with mental health and well-being support
Experience with behavior management
Experience with attendance support
