This role is to support the business around special dietary menus, deliver on-site training and audits on allergen management, deliver nutrition lessons to pupils and ensure compliance to the School Food Standards.
Job Responsibility:
Support on the creation of special diet menus across the business, and with the administration of special diets such as spreadsheets
Deliver on-site audits and produce feedback reports on the safe management of allergens within schools
Deliver nutrition lessons on a range of subjects to pupils across the London and South East schools
Deliver on-site training on special diets and the special diet process throughout the business
Manage sensitive pupil allergy information and medical evidence in line with GDPR regulations
Attend parent or school meetings regarding special diet provision online or in person where required
Requirements:
BSc degree in Nutrition or equivalent
At least an Associate Registered Nutritionist (or PH) with the Association for Nutrition
Full driving license and own vehicle
Experience in working with people with allergies and intolerances desirable
Experience using nutritional analysis system such as Saffron
Numeric and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional, organised, presentable, efficient, and self-motivated
A passion for keeping up to date with research and national health events
