This innovative program provides exceptional support of newly licensed Registered Nurses. Through in-depth experiences on three different specialty units at St. Luke's Medical Center; the program provides choices to assist you in determining an area to start your career.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work in a cohort with support and collaboration throughout the program
  • Staff with a preceptor for 3 weeks on 3 Specialty Med/Surg units
  • Participate in a Realistic Job Preview of each unit's culture to determine best fit

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification

  • Conduct data analysis and apply knowledge of system engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff.   • Support Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test (OT), Force Development Evaluation (FDE), Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and certification for test readiness. Identify deficiencies, verify compliance with specifications and standards, and assess stability of various system configurations
