Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Are you a motivated graduate with strong academics looking to gain more experience working with children in a learning environment? Do you have previous school-based experience working with SEND/SEMH needs? A fantastic Secondary School in Redbridge is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN). Within the role of a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will be tasked with supporting students with Maths, English, Science and more! This position also involves working with children with SEND/SEMH needs by providing 1:1 support and interventions in small groups. Previous experience working with additional needs is required and school-based experience is desirable. Job Responsibility

  • Supporting students with Maths, English, Science and more
  • Working with children with SEND/SEMH needs by providing 1:1 support and interventions in small groups
  • Supporting students in and out of the classroom
  • Providing 1:1 assistance for students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and more

Requirements

  • A graduate with a high degree (1st class or 2:1) from a reputable university
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Previous employment involving working with children with SEND
  • An outgoing individual with a 'can-do' attitude
