We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Graduate Instructional Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing effective instructor-led training materials, online courseware, and certification exams on AMCS Products. This role is pivotal in ensuring our employees have the product skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, and in enabling our customers to adopt and use our products to their best advantage.
Job Responsibility:
Produce effective instructor-led training materials and online courseware on AMCS products
Research and translate technical product information into plain English for non-technical users
Conduct training needs analysis, produce curriculum plans, apply instructional design principles, and produce training and eLearning content
Produce animated videos for conceptual content
Record software demonstration videos
Produce software simulations and other practice activities for learners
Create and edit user guides, instructor manuals, learner handbooks, training presentations, and quick reference guides
Document best practices and map process workflows from Subject Matter Expert notes and interviews
Deliver onboarding sessions to customers
Ensure training materials meet quality assurance standards prior to publication and release
Develop and publish training courses and learning paths using Skilljar LMS
Design and develop training programs, including but not limited to workshops, e-learning courses, and seminars
Curate existing training into learning paths tailored to each department and role
Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and venue arrangements
Maintain and update training records, ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, implementing improvements as needed
Develop and manage employee development programs aimed at enhancing skills, knowledge, and career progression
Work closely with managers and employees to identify development needs and create personalized development plans
Monitor the progress of development programs, providing guidance and support to participants
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating them into the company's programs
Requirements:
Educated to a degree level with a business studies, technical communication, eLearning, localisation, or media technology qualification preferred
A Master’s degree is a plus
Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies
Understanding of accounting or financial reporting an advantage
Understanding of SAAS products an advantage
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient using Skilljar, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline or Rise, Vyond, and Vimeo or equivalent learning management systems (LMS) and content development tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness
Certification in Learning and Development (CPLP, CPTM, or similar) is desirable
Nice to have:
Understanding of accounting or financial reporting
Understanding of SAAS products
