Job Description

As a Graduate Engineer, you will embark on an exciting career in the subsea industry, in this role much of the focus will be in Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. You will join a dynamic team focused on the design, development, and maintenance of ROV systems used in underwater exploration, installation of structures on offshore vessels, maintenance, and research.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct field geology mapping surveys
  • Assist the team in planning geological fieldwork
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret geological and geotechnical data
  • Prepare geological maps, and cross-sections
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, engineers, technicians, operations, and project management teams within Fugro, as well as with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Participate in training and development programs to build technical competencies

Requirements

  • Must be a UAE national with a Family Book
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

GIS knowledge is a plus
