Graduate Fundraising Assistant | Fast-Growth Sports Foundation | London. Harmonic is excited to be working exclusively with a fast-growth sports foundation who are looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join its growing team. This company was founded through the love of football and wanting to make the sport accessible for less advantaged families and players. These programs help young people to have access to soft skills development, improvements in mental and physical health alongside connecting them through a community that is not discriminated by socioeconomic backgrounds. They have grown their fundraising income from £800,000, to £2.5m over the last three years, and looking to continue and accelerate this trajectory, growing fundraised income to £8m by 2028. The company is currently expanding very fast and is looking for bright, ambitious graduates who are looking to make a real impact and change to communities in London through the love of football. The Role: This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of grant opportunities for charitable trusts and foundations with these grants ranging from £5,000 to £40,000. It is a great opportunity to get into a growing charity and understand how fundraising operates and how you can make an impact straight away.

Job Responsibility:

  • Research prospective funders and organisations
  • Write compelling grant applications to grant-giving Charitable Trusts and Foundations
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing funders
  • Work cross-functionally with the organisation to make sure all grants are looked after
  • Work with the rest of the Fundraising team to achieve fundraising targets in line with the charity's 5-year plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Pro-active and a driver within the business who is results orientated
