A growing and forward-thinking fire safety consultancy is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to join their expanding team across multiple locations. Job Responsibility:
Assisting in the production of fire strategy reports and supporting documentation
Supporting the specification of fire protection systems such as detection and suppression solutions
Undertaking fire engineering calculations, including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis
Contributing to both simple hand calculations and advanced computational modelling
Reviewing design proposals and identifying potential fire safety challenges
Applying relevant fire safety legislation and guidance with support
Assisting with fire risk assessments where required
Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Requirements:
A degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational and time management abilities
An interest in fire safety design and engineering within the built environment
Nice to have:
Experience with Bluebeam or CFD modelling software would be advantageous
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
