Job Description:

A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for a motivated Graduate Fire Engineer to join their growing fire safety team in Manchester. This role offers a chance to develop your career by gaining hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of projects and working on fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and design-stage consultancy services. The position also provides opportunities to develop technical knowledge in areas like fire dynamics, passive and active fire protection solutions, and more.

Job Responsibility:

Assist senior engineers in delivering fire strategies, fire risk assessments, and design-stage consultancy services
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure building safety compliance across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments
Develop technical knowledge in fire dynamics, compartmentation, evacuation modelling, and passive/active fire protection solutions under the guidance of experienced engineers and fire safety professionals

Requirements:

A degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related subject
A genuine interest in fire safety and engineering principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and progress towards Chartership (IFE or equivalent)
Proficient in technical software such as AutoCAD, FDS or similar (preferred but not essential)
