Job Description:

A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Fire Engineer to join their expanding fire engineering team. This role is ideal for an ambitious Graduate Fire Engineer looking to start their career within a respected fire engineering team delivering innovative and sustainable building design solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers, the Graduate Fire Engineer will support fire engineering strategies across a range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial and public sector developments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the development of fire engineering strategies across multiple projects
  • Assisting with fire safety design from early concept stages through to construction
  • Contributing to technical analysis and fire engineering calculations
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including architects and building engineers
  • Attending project meetings and assisting with project delivery
  • Learning to apply UK fire safety regulations and guidance within real-world projects

Requirements:

  • Degree or Master’s qualification in Fire Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
  • Strong interest in fire safety engineering and the built environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and organisational abilities
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a technical consultancy environment
