Susquehanna is looking for final year students or recent graduates who are passionate about the financial markets and event driven research to join our 2027 Equity Analyst Graduate Program. As an Equity Analyst on Susquehanna’s Research team, you will partner with our senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities and provide in-depth analysis of future volatility events. You will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalising on, either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. Equity Analysts are embedded in a sector-focused trading desk and the analysis you provide will directly impact trading decisions. This role provides the unique opportunity to combine the quantitative aspects of finance with creative problem solving in order to develop trade ideas in a fast-paced proprietary trading environment.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and analyse investment opportunities in the equity and options markets
Provide real-time opinions on breaking news
Forecast dividends
Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
Collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas
Perform stock valuation analysis
Requirements:
Market enthusiasts keeping up to date on current events and breaking news affecting markets
Effective communicators with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and logical decision makers using clear reasoning
Problem solvers with demonstrated interest in strategic games/competitive activities
Curious about financial markets
Prior exposure to fundamental company research is a plus
Confirmed plan to graduate by December 2026 with a degree in any discipline (most typically Finance and Economics)
