We are looking for talented engineers who are graduating, or are recently graduated, to join the Risktec team at our Office in Great Yarmouth, Sizewell B & Sizewell C Nuclear Power Stations. Candidates must have a clear interest in a career in the nuclear industry and has a drive to work and learn valuable engineering skills in a dynamic environment. We require a Graduate Engineer, who is local to the area or is genuinely willing to relocate to this area, this is vital as commuting between the 3 locations requires you to be in situ to the location. No hybrid working is offered for this role. The ideal Graduate will work alongside experienced Systems Engineers to support the safe and reliable operation of several complex engineering systems on site.
Job Responsibility
Supporting the delivery of major construction-based safety cases
Providing specialist civil/structural input and advice to resolve construction problems
Facilitating hazard identification in cooperation with CDM regulations and optioneering workshops
Production of formal technical reports, safety cases and other project deliverables on time and to budget
Implementation of modifications to site
Supporting construction team and client during the construction process through problem solving
Supporting the build of safety case through justification of design
Reviewing design proposals and producing design substantiation reports
Authoring testing and commissioning strategies and functional test procedures
Support to plant operability including condition monitoring and identification of plant faults
Supporting equipment reliability reviews, including plant walk downs
Reviewing maintenance routines/strategy
Management of projects, project teams and interfacing with clients
