As a Graduate Engineer, you will embark on an exciting career in the subsea industry, in this role much of the focus will be in Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. You will join a dynamic team focused on the design, development, and maintenance of ROV systems used in underwater exploration, installation of structures on offshore vessels, maintenance, and research.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the design and development of ROV and USV systems, including mechanical structures, propulsion systems, control systems, and sensor integration
Assist in installation of ROV Launch and Recovery Systems and other structures on offshore vessels
Assist in the review of fabrication and installation drawings and engineering design reports
Assist in the development and execution of test plans to validate system performance and reliability under various operating conditions and environmental factors
Participate in testing activities and provide support in troubleshooting components and subsystems, under the guidance of senior engineers
Provide assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer support, by addressing engineering queries and providing insights into product capabilities and applications
Support the generation of technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, test reports, and user manuals, to ensure comprehensive documentation of design and development activities
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in underwater robotics, actively seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge and skillset
Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance your understanding of ROV and USV systems engineering principles and practices
Requirements:
Must be a UAE national with a Family Book
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
Entry-level to 2 years of experience in engineering, preferably in mechanical, structural, electrical, or naval architecture
Basic understanding of engineering design, control systems, sensor integration, and/or underwater vehicle dynamics
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluency in English
