We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Darwin team. You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the job learning alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects.
Job Responsibility:
Work on industrial automation projects from kick-off to hand over
Design documentation
PLC RTU and SCADA programming
Factory acceptance testing
On-site commissioning
Hand-over documentation
Provide assistance with technical delivery and execution of projects
Work within a team environment alongside other junior and senior Engineers
Provide project assistance and support to the Project Managers and Support Technicians
Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender responses
Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines
Possess the confidence and ability to liaise with management and internal staff
Requirements:
Be an undergraduate or recent graduate of Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry
Australian drivers licence
Must have the right to work in Australia
Nice to have:
Have knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems
Experience in Electrical Drafting & use of software packages i.e. Autocad
You are required to hold an Australian Citizen & Defence Clearance
