Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in 3D design and engineering within a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will work on designing hydraulic components and assemblies, creating professional drawings, and learning the practicalities of production design.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in designing hydraulic components and assemblies using SolidWorks/3D CAD
  • Produce accurate technical drawings for manufacturing and customers
  • Learn to apply engineering calculations and reasoning for safe and effective designs
  • Gain experience in specifying materials, components, and seals
  • Support the maintenance and updating of all drawings according to company standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure designs meet project requirements
  • Participate in prototype and new design projects
  • Learn to liaise with customers under guidance, contributing to product development
  • Support continuous improvement of design processes and manufacturing considerations

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Mechanical, Design, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
  • Strong interest in 3D CAD design, preferably SolidWorks
  • Willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to contribute in a hands-on environment
