Job Description:

You will improve our trading results using insights driven by data. You’ll work closely with the development, research, and trading teams. You will develop hypotheses and test them experimentally. You’ll direct engineering efforts and build tools & metrics to monitor and optimize our low-latency trading strategies. You’ll work with cutting-edge hardware and terabytes of data. You’ll reverse engineer systems to understand how to improve our trading success. In short, you’ll be responsible for defining and driving improvements to our trading through technology.

Requirements:

  • Students who are graduating in 2025 or 2026
  • Studying a Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similarly technical degree
  • Strong research skills with a scientific mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems with data
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis and prototyping
  • Experience applying machine learning or statistical modeling techniques to complex systems or noisy data
  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator who can challenge ideas constructively, explain reasoning clearly, and collaborate across teams

Nice to have:

familiarity with C++ is a plus

  • Plan and conduct risk‑based internal audits, inspections and assurance visits across fleet and onshore operations
  • Support and coordinate external audits and inspections, including Flag, Class, ISM, ISPS, ISO, charterer and client audits
  • Track findings, verify effective close‑out of corrective actions and report assurance outcomes with clear recommendations to management
  • Support the reporting and management of incidents, security events, near‑misses and non‑conformances in line with statutory and company requirements
