Job Description:

A forward-thinking Construction Consultancy keen to speak with an ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor offers an opportunity to work across numerous sectors, structured support towards chartership, and early career development. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating buildings, defect diagnosis, managing projects, and collaborating with clients and team members.

Job Responsibility:

Providing reliable assessments and evaluations of buildings to ensure they meet all legal and safety standards
Involvement in defect diagnosis
Conducting condition surveys
Preparation of technical reports
Advising on maintenance and compliance matters
Project management
Contract administration
Planning applications
Regular site visits
Client meetings
Internal team collaboration

Requirements:

A degree in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited) or a closely related field
On the APC pathway or intending to work towards chartership (MRICS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative and professional approach to work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A genuine interest in building pathology and technical building advice
Eager to engage in CPD and ongoing training
