Job Description:

A forward-thinking Construction Consultancy is seeking an ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to assist in providing evaluations of buildings, addressing maintenance and compliance matters, and advancing their career with structured mentorship in their London office. This role offers exposure to project management, contract administration, and planning applications.

Job Responsibility:

Providing reliable assessments and evaluations of buildings to ensure they meet all legal and safety standards
Performing defect diagnosis and condition surveys
Preparing technical reports
Advising on maintenance and compliance matters
Involvement in project management, contract administration, and planning applications
Conducting regular site visits and attending client meetings
Collaborating internally with team members, clients, and consultants

Requirements:

A degree in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited) or a closely related field
On the APC pathway or intending to work towards chartership (MRICS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative and professional approach to work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A genuine interest in building pathology and technical building advice
Eager to engage in CPD and ongoing training
