Job Description:

A construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor. The building surveyor will support building surveying delivery across a range of sectors. The building surveyor will work across residential, education, industrial and commercial schemes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting contract administration duties, including meetings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Undertaking building surveys, condition surveys and recording site information
  • Assisting with schedules of dilapidations and negotiations
  • Supporting design and contract administration across residential and commercial schemes
  • Assisting with defect analysis and reporting
  • Supporting site inspections and progress reporting
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams across multiple project stages

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
  • Strong interest in building surveying and professional development
  • Understanding of design, construction, maintenance and refurbishment
  • Ability to produce clear written reports and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Commitment to progressing through the APC process
