Job Description:

A forward-thinking Construction Consultancy seeking an ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join their growing London office. Opportunity to work across various sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare with structured support towards chartership and early career development.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in providing reliable assessments and evaluations of buildings to ensure they meet all legal and safety standards
Involved in defect diagnosis, condition surveys, preparation of technical reports, and advising on maintenance and compliance matters
Gain exposure to project management, contract administration, and planning applications
Work closely with Senior Surveyors, clients, and consultants
Regular site visits, client meetings, and internal team collaboration

Requirements:

A degree in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited) or a closely related field
On the APC pathway or intending to work towards chartership (MRICS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative and professional approach to work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A genuine interest in building pathology and technical building advice
Eager to engage in CPD and ongoing training
