The School of Applied Human Sciences is seeking to hire full-time Graduate Assistants. The assignment includes working with faculty members teaching academic and clinical education courses in a variety of academic programs, including the Counselor Education (i.e., Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling), Communication Sciences and Disorders (i.e., Speech-Language Pathology) programs, as well as other Applied Human Sciences undergraduate programs. Graduate Assistants will be involved in varying aspects of teaching, including proctoring examinations, assisting with preparation of materials for lecture, records management, and grading. Graduate Assistants will also function to support the research and scholarly endeavors of program faculty. Additionally, the Graduate Assistants will assist with the admissions work of the department for the undergraduate and graduate programs. Responsibilities will include engaging with prospective students and assisting with processing of applications. Finally, the Graduate Assistants will support departmental recruitment and retention efforts such as meeting with prospective students completing campus visits, creating materials for use on the website and social media sites, and attending recruitment events.
