Bouygues UK has an exciting opportunity available for a Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Southwest & Wales region. We are working on a variety of projects across the region and have a strong pipeline ahead of us! We have projects ranging from Exeter to Carmarthen, with offices in Bristol and Cardiff. The Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor will learn and develop the skills necessary to support commercial activity in the region. You would be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two-year structured training scheme. We will provide you with the support and mechanisms to build a successful career, including support with chartership.
Job Responsibility:
Maximisation of commercial results of the project
Procurement and Financial Control of Sub-Contractors
Delivery of monthly financial reports to forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules
Liaison and collaboration with the construction and design teams in all aspects of contractual activities
Requirements:
A 2:1 or above in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or similar)
A genuine interest in the construction industry!
