Graduate Accountant

• Ensure general ledger integrity through balanced transactions and timely reconciliations
• Process payroll journals, reconcile payroll accounts, and resolve payroll accounting issues promptly
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
• Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register
• Contribute to month end and year end processes, including processing journal adjustments, expenditure accruals and prepayment adjustments

• Sound financial, analytical, and commercial skills, including problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Comfortable with Finance systems and applications, to deliver analysis and report on information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new skills and applications
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness and commitment to take on journey towards to qualified accountant (eg. CPA or CA)
• To be eligible for this position, you are required to hold Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa that enables you to fulfil the requirements of this role
