SRG is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturer in Manchester, who offer a wide range of innovative raw materials to manufacturers and brands globally (encompassing Personal Care, HI&I, Oil & Gas and Agriculture amongst others). With world-class R&D and manufacturing facilities, they have a well-known reputation for success in the market and are now looking for a Chemistry graduate to join them as an Account Coordinator and provide support to the sales team. This would be an amazing opportunity for a Chemistry graduate looking to utilise their degree outside the lab and pivot into a customer-facing, commercial role - with a defined pathway to progress to a Technical Sales Manager long-term.
Job Responsibility:
Being the main point of contact for several identified customers
Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in your assigned accounts
Supporting with customer queries and complaints
Providing technical support on products to customers
Generating and sending COA/SDS/other technical documentation
Managing customer orders through the whole order process
Providing realistic delivery dates and shipping updates
Supporting the commercial team with other duties as required
Requirements:
Recently graduated with a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a closely related subject
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer service
