Job Description:

SRG is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturer in Manchester, who offer a wide range of innovative raw materials to manufacturers and brands globally (encompassing Personal Care, HI&I, Oil & Gas and Agriculture amongst others). With world-class R&D and manufacturing facilities, they have a well-known reputation for success in the market and are now looking for a Chemistry graduate to join them as an Account Coordinator and provide support to the sales team. This would be an amazing opportunity for a Chemistry graduate looking to utilise their degree outside the lab and pivot into a customer-facing, commercial role - with a defined pathway to progress to a Technical Sales Manager long-term.

Job Responsibility:

  • Being the main point of contact for several identified customers
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in your assigned accounts
  • Supporting with customer queries and complaints
  • Providing technical support on products to customers
  • Generating and sending COA/SDS/other technical documentation
  • Managing customer orders through the whole order process
  • Providing realistic delivery dates and shipping updates
  • Supporting the commercial team with other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Recently graduated with a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a closely related subject
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
