Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Accurately audio type patient correspondence, clinical reports, and medical documentation
Prepare, format, and distribute letters and reports using appropriate medical terminology
Maintain patient records in compliance with data protection and confidentiality guidelines
Support the processing of private health insurance claims and related billing activities
Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and external organisations in a professional manner
Maintain well-organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Carry out general office duties including managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to queries
Work independently, demonstrating initiative while effectively prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
Requirements:
Minimum of two years’ experience in a secretarial or administrative role, and/or completion of a recognised medical secretarial training course
Strong understanding and practical use of medical terminology
Proven experience using dictation systems for patient correspondence and reporting
Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and use initiative
