Job Description

The E4 – Engineer is a professional engineer or geoscientist who applies engineering knowledge to provide engineering, estimating, planning, and quality management services for medium complexity projects and/or operations safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Job Responsibility

Help with an increasing Mechanical work load in capital projects, OMA work programs and Owners Engineer review work

Requirements

  • Project work experience with multiple stakeholders
  • Expertise in turbines, generator and/or governor systems is being requested for this position
  • Travel will be required to site within BC as needed (approx. 3 - 6 times per year)
  • Class 5 Driver's license in good standing

Nice to have

  • Utility experience
  • Experience with companies similar in size to BC Hydro
  • PMP certification
