Long established single handed GP in Newpark Medical Clinic seeks replacement ideally for early 2026 but available to do part time for transition period to ensure smooth handover. We need a vocationally trained GP eligible for GMS number for GMS panel of 1,360 and similar sized private practice. We are fully computerised with excellent ancillary staff comprising nurse and secretary located in a shopping centre with excellent access and parking-the premises are custom built and currently leased by the practice. List can be expanded if desired as big demand for primary care exists in Kilkenny. Would also suit husband/wife team due to excellent potential for growth. High financial turnover. Initial salary for candidate of Euro 3200 weekly based on 8 sessions per week and 5 weeks paid holiday. Assistance can be provided with obtaining Medical card Panel number. Eligibility for registration with Irish Medical Council essential as is MRCGP/MICGP qualification Early succession for right candidate anticipated.
