Job Description:

Are you an experienced GP Practice-Based Pharmacist looking for your next impactful locum position? A well-established GP surgery in Stafford is seeking a dedicated Independent Prescriber to join their clinical team. If you’re passionate about improving patient outcomes in a primary care setting, this could be the role for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake medication reviews and medicines optimisation
  • Manage long-term conditions in line with clinical guidelines
  • Prescribe confidently and appropriately as an IP
  • Work alongside GPs, nurses, and the wider team to deliver integrated care
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation

Requirements:

  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Independent Prescriber accreditation – essential
  • At least 1 year of experience in general practice or primary care
  • Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
