Drive engagement with decision-makers to advance social justice. Shape government relations in the lead-up to state and federal elections. The Justice and Equity Centre is a leading social justice law and policy centre. Job Responsibility:

  • Advise on and facilitate engagement with parliamentarians, their advisers and government decision-makers
  • Develop and deliver engagement plans
  • Provide expert input on engagement, advocacy and campaigning
  • Lead government relations strategies in the lead-up to state and federal elections

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in government relations
  • In-depth knowledge of the political environment at NSW and Commonwealth levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing government relations strategies, including for issue-specific campaigns
