Job Description:

The Governance Specialist supports Sustainable Operations by owning the day-to-day governance workstreams that make ESG reporting and commitments audit-ready and operationally manageable across the Group. The role coordinates EU Taxonomy governance, ESG risk management inputs, assurance readiness, and governance-code related disclosures, while acting as the owner of the ESG Document Management System (evidence repository, document control, and user governance). The role also supports supply chain governance by coordinating ESG governance requirements and evidence needs with Procurement (e.g., EcoVadis, supplier ESG requirements) to ensure consistent documentation and escalation paths. The role reports to Chief Sustainability Officer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain governance templates (sign-offs, controls checklists, evidence logs, policy mapping)
  • Track governance deliverables calendar (reporting milestones, assurance milestones, major questionnaires) and coordinate inputs
  • Coordinate Group-wide EU Taxonomy data collection and validation (eligibility/alignment, technical screening evidence, DNSH/minimum safeguards documentation, audit trail)
  • Maintain taxonomy methodology, templates, and controls in line with reporting requirements and assurance expectations
  • Operate the ESG risk governance process: maintain ESG risk register inputs, coordinate risk owners, track mitigation actions, and escalate overdue items
  • Coordinate ESG governance requirements with Procurement: documentation standards, evidence needs, supplier ESG governance inputs, and escalation paths (non-commercial owner)
  • Own the ESG Document Management System: structure, taxonomy, version control, retention rules, access rights, user management, and evidence pack standards

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law, Economics, Business, Sustainability, Risk/Compliance, or similar
  • 0–2 years experience (internship/graduate role acceptable) in governance, risk, compliance, internal controls, audit/assurance coordination, ESG reporting governance, or a similar role
  • Working understanding of ESG governance topics such as EU Taxonomy, assurance readiness, policy governance, and risk management (deep expertise in all areas not required)
  • Professional English and Czech proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Strong structure and attention to detail (document control mindset, audit trail discipline)
  • Confident communicator able to coordinate multiple subsidiaries and functions (Finance, Legal, Procurement, Internal Audit, HR)
  • Willingness to travel to subsidiaries when needed
What we offer:
  • Unique opportunity to grow within a strong, stable, and continuously expanding CSG group
  • Motivational financial package and an attractive set of benefits
  • Opportunities for personal and career growth
