Our client, a prominent leader in the Canadian financial and professional services sector, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Information Security Governance division. In this strategic role, you will act as a high-level orchestrator, ensuring that massive organizational initiatives—particularly those involving Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies—adhere to rigorous security and risk management frameworks. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical safety, fostering a culture of "Security by Design" across the enterprise.
Job Responsibility:
Drive the integration of security protocols into large-scale business projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and global standards
coordinate comprehensive risk assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to implement and monitor effective remediation strategies
act as the primary liaison between business units, IT delivery teams, and specialized AI security squads
translate complex security requirements into actionable business insights for executive leadership
develop and maintain high-level reporting and KPIs to communicate project health and security posture to senior management
Requirements:
8 to 10+ years of experience leading complex projects within large-scale corporate environments
strong conceptual understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
exceptional influential leadership and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes without direct hierarchical authority
ability to commute to the Montreal office at least twice per month
full professional fluency in both French and English
Nice to have:
PMP, CISM, or CISA certifications
