As a Governance / Project Analyst / Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Bombardier’s Engineering Project Management and Product Development (EPMPD) organization. You will support key initiatives that enhance governance, financial management, manpower planning, and strategic execution across multiple engineering domains. In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will ensure alignment between strategic priorities, operational goals, and executive decision-making — helping to build a strong and sustainable Engineering organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive effective governance across multiple organizations by planning, coordinating, and supporting key meetings and activities, including management of the Master Plan and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Support engineering budget planning and management, including annual planification and quarterly reforecast exercises
  • Assist in strategic manpower planning and ensure alignment with engineering and product development priorities
  • Partner with the Engineering and Product Development leadership team to guide and influence alignment toward common strategic objectives
  • Create clear, concise, and impactful documentation and presentations for executive-level audiences
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams to validate, refine, and implement strategic plans
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support evidence-based decision-making and strategy implementation
  • Lead or support the development of innovative tools, dashboards, and reports to enhance data analysis and performance tracking

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in project management, strategy, engineering, or related disciplines
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, financial, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, with a proactive mindset
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power Bi)
  • Proven experience engaging and aligning cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Program Management, HR, Finance, etc.) in a large, matrixed organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and present complex information to executive audiences
  • High degree of discretion in handling confidential information

Nice to have:

  • Master’s degree in Strategy, Project Management, or MBA is an asset
