Job Description:

The Regulatory Risk Group Manager is responsible for overseeing critical areas of risk management, including regulatory compliance and project management. Involves leadership responsibilities, overseeing teams, assessing risk impacts, and managing audits and inspections. Additionally, the role includes model validation activities to verify and document model performance in line with objectives. Collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders is required.

Job Responsibility:

Providing risk strategic analytics and information management
communicating implications of regulation to executive management
project management for delivery of regulatory solutions
analyzing new risk-related guidelines, regulations
answering questions and involving Risk functions in audits and regulators
rationalization of EUCs for Portfolio Risk Reviews
interacting with senior bank and risk management colleagues and external stakeholders
initiating feedback sessions with clients
developing organization and talent
assessing risk with compliance to laws, rules and regulations
creating accountability within the team.

Requirements:

10+ years relevant experience
excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
broad understanding of classifiable and delinquency managed credit and operational policies and procedures
thorough knowledge of financial and risk reporting
familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks
previous experience in managing Regulatory Inspections and Audits within a financial services company
ability to interact with Senior Bank, Regulatory and Audit Management
project management experience and skills
proven relationship management skills
proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent large-scale projects
required licensing/registration: Series 4, Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 24Series 63, Series 65
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
