Job Responsibility:
Provides expert advisory services to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on contemporary governance and statutory obligations
Responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of internal policies, ensuring all procedures remain compliant with current legislation and best-practice governance principles
Requirements:
Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate those requirements into clear internal policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal skills are essential to provide practical governance advice to executives and staff
Experience identifying and monitoring organizational risks and supporting internal audit programs in line with government frameworks
Demonstrated commitment to public sector values, particularly in managing sensitive matters like conflicts of interest and public interest disclosures
capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet strict statutory deadlines, and maintain accurate registers using governance and Microsoft Office systems
Nice to have:
Degree in Law, Governance, Public Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
