Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Google Platform Specialist to build, run, and scale our paid performance engine across markets. This is not a narrow execution role. We’re not looking for someone who only manages keywords, only adjusts bids, or only reports numbers. This role owns the entire Google Ads lifecycle, from strategy and setup to optimisation, learning, and scale. You’ll work closely with leadership and sit at the core of our performance marketing function.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and operate Google Ads end-to-end (Search & Display)
  • Build and manage campaigns from scratch structure, targeting, creatives, extensions, and tracking
  • Develop and execute bidding strategies aligned with business goals
  • Work with and understand Google’s AI-driven features (automation, smart bidding, learning phases)
  • Analyse performance data deeply not just CTRs and CPCs, but intent, quality, and outcomes
  • Research competitors and positioning, especially within financial services
  • Continuously test, learn, and improve performance across regions and audiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align landing pages, messaging, and conversion paths

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience
  • Actively worked on the Google Platform in your most recent role
  • Strong understanding of how Google rankings, auctions, and quality signals work
  • Comfortable working with Google’s evolving AI and automation
  • Experience running campaigns in financial services or regulated industries is a strong plus
  • Able to think strategically and execute independently
  • Data-driven, but commercial you understand what “good performance” actually means
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ready to join immediately or at short notice
