Job Description

We are looking for a Data & AI Specialist to join BIP’s Google Tech Hub, working on Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Data, and Martech projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The selected candidate will support the company’s AI adoption journey by designing and delivering actionable AI solutions fully integrated into business processes, within the Data Analytics, BI & Business Analysis team, focusing on creating real impact for clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop advanced models to understand and predict business dynamics, optimizing data-driven strategies
  • Design scalable and distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for specific use cases
  • Collaborate closely with professionals such as Cloud & Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to develop Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions, bringing insights into production through scalable architectures

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related STEM disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Science roles or software development focused on data
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and experience in software development in at least one language among Python, Scala, Java, or Node.js
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, managing, and modeling data in both transactional and analytical contexts, including ETL activities
  • Proven experience applying AI solutions (including Generative AI) and developing advanced AI models
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts, algorithms, and methodologies
  • Expertise in Context Engineering (Prompt Engineering) to optimize the integration of AI models (LLMs) into software systems
  • Good knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Vertex AI (training, fine-tuning, and deployment), BigQuery (large-scale data analysis), and BigQuery ML (AI model integration into analytics workflows)
  • Experience in designing software solutions and implementing algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Fluent professional Spanish and English

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of BI and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB) and related RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
  • Experience developing distributed applications and microservices architectures
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
  • Experience integrating Generative AI models (e.g., Large Language Models, NLP, Vision AI)
  • Knowledge of Terraform and observability stacks
  • Previous experience with optimization or profiling models (e.g., NBA/NBO models, attribution models, dynamic profiling)
