Stays up to date with current food trends and best practices
Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club

Job Responsibility

Receiving and forwarding all goods and deliveries in and out of the premises to the correct point of contact/storage area
Being able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of the club
Monitoring and taking inventory on regular basis with the support of the Cost Controller to compile orders based on par levels or needs
Maintaining clear and organised records ensuring all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
Monitoring PAR levels for all food and beverage items ensuring proper levels
Being responsible for storage of both food, beverage and non-food beverage and operational stock
Being responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene
Being responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received
Refusing acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
Ensuring cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations
