To manage and support colleagues under my responsibility in the goods flow team in order to co-ordinate and optimize goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and support colleagues under my responsibility in the goods flow team in order to co-ordinate and optimize goods flow operations in the store
Lead and influence the Goods Flow team to secure the highest stock availability for customers at the lowest possible cost
Provide relevant goods flow input and feedback to the Market Fulfilment Unit business plan and logistics action plan
Positively influence product quality, merchandising standards, and the overall customer shopping experience
Ensure that all Goods Flow operations comply with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA policies, and all local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
Secure efficient daily goods flow operations in accordance with the Global Service Protocol
Immediately report any security breaches to the concerned authority and line manager
Maintain full awareness of all security-related emergency response procedures and strictly follow all policies and protocols
Support the identification and development of talent within the Goods Flow team
Adhere to IKEA supply chain and security policy and report to concern manager in case of any identified security breaches
Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and living IKEA culture
Requirements:
Experience of working in a retail and/or logistics role
Previous experience of leading others
Ability of setting and implementing action plans and providing clear direction and following up goals
Show potential to apply tactical and operational thinking
