Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Golf Operations Supervisor to assist the management with the daily operations of our Golf Pro Shop / Strike Shack, ensuring its smooth and efficient running. You will create attractive merchandising displays to maximise sales and provide excellent customer service in line with The Club Company’s standards. If you have a passion for golf, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and have a keen eye for retail management, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the management with the daily operations of our Golf Pro Shop / Strike Shack
  • Ensure smooth and efficient running of the shop
  • Create attractive merchandising displays to maximise sales
  • Provide excellent customer service in line with The Club Company’s standards
  • Deliver the highest of standards of customer service to members and guests
  • Work closely with the Golf Operations Manager to meet sales targets and drive the business toward its annual retail budget
  • Manage customer play, processing bookings, and handling charges for golf buggy usage
  • Promote daily sales and special offers
  • Assist with product selection
  • Operate the point-of-sale system
  • Monitor merchandise receipt
  • Assist in selecting tournament products
  • Coordinate with the Course Marshall to ensure efficient operations
  • Provide feedback to senior management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a golf shop environment desirable
  • GCSE qualification
