Job Description:

The Seasonal Grounds and Golf Attendant is responsible for mowing, trimming and utilizing various equipment for maintaining the grounds of the hotel property and golf course. This person must have the ability to lift moderate to heavy weight and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with preparing the course for daily play
  • Mow greens, tees, collars and approaches, and rough
  • Rake bunkers
  • Course set-up (move tee blocks, change pin locations and fill ball washers)
  • Operate equipment in a safe responsible manner
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of golf course and golf course equipment
  • Operate small equipment such as sod cutters, string trimmers, hedge trimmer, shovels, rakes, backpack blowers, various types of vehicles, mowers, and turf equipment
  • Responsible to report equipment problems to equipment mechanic
  • Performs duties associated with maintenance of the golf course, driving range, and resort grounds

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be available for early mornings, weekend mornings, and holidays
  • Able to work in all environmental conditions such as hot, cold, dry or wet conditions
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
