Job Description:

Meadowbrook Golf Club in West Memphis, AR is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to bring the property back to life. A once private country club is being reopened as a municipal golf course after being idle for one year. The Golf Course Superintendent is tasked with assessing equipment needs as we look to rebuild the maintenance department for a late summer/early fall reopening.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build a new team
  • Lead a Tif-eagle greens renovation
  • Supervise Rainbird irrigation controller upgrades
  • Assessing equipment needs
  • Build and manage a team of maintenance workers
  • Create a collaborative work environment
  • Maintain the course at a high standard
  • Addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with the Pro-shop and golfers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred

  • Construction experience preferred
