Job Responsibility
Daily task assignments for the staff using Task Tracker or other software as needed
Course Set-up
Chemical and Fertilizer applications
Training Staff on all equipment and task
Irrigation repairs
Payroll
Operations of Turfbreeze fans and Subair
Basic Knowledge of the Clubhouse, Resort, Activity Center and housing irrigation systems
Communication with Pro Shop
Requirements
Two or four-year degree preferably in golf course or turf grass management or related field. If the degree is not specifically in turf or golf course management, candidates with other degree must have extensive training in turf or golf course management field.
Two years management experience required
GCSAA Class A or CGCS in good standing preferred
Valid Virginia pesticide/fertilizer license preferred
Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia driver's license or CDL, meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the Employer's insurance carrier and must immediately report any change in status of the license to the Employer.
Requires advanced knowledge of agronomy and turf grass management practices
a working knowledge of golf facility construction principles, practices and methods
and a thorough understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf
Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
