Job Description:

Provide excellent service to guests and owners while assisting with rental of golf carts and performance of minor mechanical duties, reservations, and customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the golf cart rental process from start to finish
  • Assist with an electric fleet management of 150 golf carts
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair of golf carts while maintaining clean and organized storage lot and a welcoming office space
  • Upkeep of equipment and maintenance logs along with following SOPs to standardize rental program to company’s standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and owners to ensure repeat business
  • Ensure team is providing exceptional customer service to guests and owners
  • Effectively communicate safety protocols for renters
  • Be able to address concerns or issues that may arise during the rental contract
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of all transactions, contracts, and confidential customer information
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Background with working at a hotel/resort or related is preferred
  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
  • Fluent in English language, must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Confident with administrative duties, handling reservations, and confirmations in a timely manner
  • Computer skills are a must, basic Microsoft Office functions such as Word and Excel programs
  • Confidence to handle confidential information and utilize for transactions for payment utilizing POS system
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks during the work shift
  • Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity
  • Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations – fast paced environment
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
