Job Description:

The role involves developing highly scalable cloud and cloud-native applications, following best practices, and collaborating with team members to create innovative technical solutions. The position is designed to require onsite work in the Hyderabad office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with the team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring solutions to provide full visibility to the different platform components using tools and services that are part of the cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other business units to understand and address their needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in developing highly scalable cloud and cloud-native applications using a diverse range of technology stacks, architecture, design, development and support
  • Proven skills and programming experience in Golang, scalable concurrent processing, REST, GRPC and Data Caching Services
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
  • Collaborate closely with the team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring solutions to provide full visibility to the different platform components using tools and services that are part of the cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other business units to understand and address their needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Experience in building, orchestrating and deploying highly scalable REST/GPRC based stateless APIs/web services for web applications in Kubernetes environment
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools - such as Git, SVN
  • Experience with Helm charts
  • Experience with Auto-scaling constructs in Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Application observability
  • Knowledge of Linux Networking (sockets, netdevices, namespaces, routing, bridges, iptables, conntrack, networking device drivers etc.), Container Networking technologies (Docker), Linux Storage architecture etc.
  • Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting etc.
  • Experience working on open-source projects
  • Knowledge of complex event processing and event-driven architecture

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge in the Kubernetes ecosystem w.r.t kubernetes object hierarchy and controller architectures
  • Strong knowledge of container architectures including Docker, Cri-o, Containerd etc.
  • Strong knowledge developing Kubernetes applications with Observability principles
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud-based Kubernetes environments (EKS, GKS etc.)
  • Understanding of microservices design and architectural patterns
  • Expertise in Linux
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments
  • Comfortable collaborating with team-mates working from around the globe
